Urban problems & Solutions
Even though, Tokyo is the biggest city in Japan, it has some urban problems. As the economy and more and more people come to Tokyo, the need for water is increasing. These includes both industrial and idomestic living, the Metropolitian Government for Tokyo have all the water supply covered for the future so people in Tokyo get their equal amount of share everyday.
After the two oil factories crises, Tokyo has build power generaters for the energy supply (both gas and electricity) in the city. The oil levels have slightly decreased, but the electricity supply has always been developed for the future to keep the electricity levels high.
The air pollution in Tokyo has always been a big problem. By 1960 to 1970, the air pollution levels have decreased due to some strict rules and regualtions made by the Meterpolitian Government. The amount of pollution coming from factories has been reduced, but some still remain today because of the automoblie exhaust fumes. People and engineers have been working on to improve the exhaust fumes, but because of the traffic james, there's no point.
The water pollution in Tokyo, has always been improved due to the sewage-processing plants. The plants mainly focus on the river and bay. In some areas, people have started to recycle water and the environmental problems have been taken cared of by the Metropolitian Government.
Traffic Congestions:
Taffic congestions in Tokyo has always been a big problem due to time and money lose. The fumes that come out of automobile causes harm to the natural environment of Tokyo.
